Terms & Conditions
The general terms and conditions that apply to maintenance and repair work Zimex Aviation Ltd carries out for customers. The PDF below is the binding text; this page is a summary of what it covers.
What they cover
- Work orders
- The GTC apply to all customer work orders unless otherwise agreed in writing. Work orders become binding only on written confirmation by Zimex.
- Scope of services
- Maintenance and repair of aircraft and components, including spare parts, under Zimex’s Statement of Work and EASA Part-145. Unforeseen work needs the customer’s written approval before it starts.
- Turn times
- Turn times are provisional unless Zimex declares them binding in writing.
- Warranty
- Six months after completion or 350 flight hours, whichever occurs first, for defects in workmanship.
- Liability and insurance
- Liability is limited to gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Customers maintain hull all-risks and legal liability insurance naming Zimex.
- Prices and payment
- Prices are estimates unless fixed in writing, net ex works. Invoices are payable immediately; complaints within 30 days.
- Law and arbitration
- Swiss law. Disputes go to arbitration in Zurich, in English, under the Swiss Rules.
